Dr. Vartak’s approach is grounded in recognizing each patient as a unique individual, with their own biopsychosocial formulation, and tailoring their treatment according to their needs. She uses curiosity and humor to help patients feel comfortable. She also values the importance of educating patients about the latest treatment recommendations so they can be informed with their care plan.
In college, Dr. Vartak started as a psychology major. This passion for mental health continued throughout her educational journey and medical school. She believes the importance of mental health cannot be understated, and it is her goal to help eliminate the stigma of recognizing the need for seeking help. She is a compassionate listener and wants patients to feel heard.
Outside of work, her hobbies include running, tennis, and spending time with her family, especially her dogs.
