Dr. David Finkelstein has been with Mindpath Health since 2013. Dr. Finkelstein has an insight-oriented approach, providing a warm, engaging therapeutic environment. He values active listening, curiosity, compassion, and humor. Dr. Finkelstein acts as a guide to help patients explore how unconscious influences from past experiences may shape current challenges and behaviors. While this forms the foundation of his work, he also integrates cognitive behavioral therapy when appropriate. He doesn’t see any patients solely for medication management. Dr. Finkelstein received additional advanced psychoanalytic psychotherapy training at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.
