Sandra’s approach to patient care is shaped by both her professional training and personal experiences. She understands that every patient brings unique life experiences, values, and challenges to treatment and strives to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns and participating in treatment decisions.
Sandra’s strengths include listening carefully, building trust, and helping patients understand their diagnoses and treatment options in a way that feels approachable and empowering. She believes in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms, by combining evidence-based medication management with supportive therapy, education, and practical coping strategies to help patients achieve meaningful and lasting improvements in their mental health and overall well-being.
Sandra was inspired to work in mental health through personal experiences and by seeing how deeply mental health challenges can affect individuals and families. These experiences shaped her commitment to providing compassionate, accessible care and supporting people through difficult moments as they build resilience and work toward recovery. Outside of work, Sandra enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with family. Dancing and connecting with music are big passions of hers and helps her stay grounded and balanced.
