See more cliniciansAbout
Dr. Brar’s practice style is collaborative and patient-centered, grounded in the belief that every individual has a unique story and history that shapes their current presentation. She strives to understand each patient’s context and experiences, integrating evidence-based pharmacological treatment with supportive and cognitive-behavioral approaches.
Dr. Brar was drawn to mental health by a deep curiosity about people, their stories, emotions, and the experiences that shape them. She believes medical treatment is not complete without also addressing psychological well-being; caring for the mind is essential to truly supporting the whole person. She finds it incredibly fulfilling to help patients feel seen, understood, and empowered as they navigate life with greater clarity, self-understanding, and resilience.
Outside of work, Dr. Brar enjoys creative outlets like cookie decorating, scrapbooking, DIY projects, and planning fun activities for her kids and their friends. Creative expression and making memories with loved ones bring her joy and balance. She also prioritizes self-care and ‘me time,’ and often encourages her patients to do the same in ways that feel authentic and restorative for them.
