Dr. Margolis employs a collaborative, evidence-based approach to mental health care. Committed to establishing a supportive and therapeutic relationship with her patients, Dr. Margolis attentively listens to their stories, elicits their values and goals, and provides thoughtful psycho-education to enable shared decision-making during treatment.
Drawn to human narratives since childhood, Dr. Margolis studied neuroscience in college, cultivating her fascination with how neurobiology and lived experience converge to shape the mind. As a Bay Area native with local clinical training, she is particularly cognizant of the mental health needs of the region’s diverse population.
Outside of work, Dr. Margolis enjoys building Legos, crafting, and trying out new recipes. She has fostered twenty-six dogs and also has one of her own.
