About Jasmine Kaur, MD

Dr. Jasmine Kaur is board-certified in child, adolescent, and general psychiatry and treats patients of all ages. Dr. Kaur strives to deliver knowledgeable and compassionate care. She integrates the understanding of neurobiology in her work according to a patient’s situation, needs, and desires. This approach integrates biological, psychological, and socio-environmental factors influencing an individual's well-being. For children and adolescents, she works closely to engage the family because they have a powerful and foundational influence on the child's life. She wants her patients to feel independent, dignified, and valued. Dr. Kaur completed her residency in general psychiatry at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. She is fluent in Punjabi and Hindi and enjoys writing poetry, singing, and outdoor activities.
