About Jorge Dubin, MD
Jorge Dubin, MD is a board-certified adult psychiatrist. Dr. Dubin was raised in a medical family. His father was a physician and by the age of six, Dr. Dubin had decided to become a doctor too.While working towards his pediatric residence at Michael Reese Hospital he was drafted into the US Army, where he served for two years as a medical officer with the Special Forces (Green Berets). He returned to Michael Reese, where he met his wife, completed his pediatric residence, and two years of psychiatry residency. Dr. Dubin then transferred to the University of Michigan where he completed his adult, child, and adolescent psychiatry residencies.
He later moved to Los Angeles and worked for the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health for 10 years. Then he became an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry in the UCLA department of child psychiatry.
