About Michael Adelman, MD

Dr. Michael Adelman was drawn to behavioral health because he feels it emphasizes the humanity behind our existence, both individually and communally. Dr. Adelman focuses on children, adolescents, and families with depression with psychosis, depression with suicidality, psychosis with long-acting injectables, and individuals who have suffered a traumatic brain injury. His holistic approach to therapy helps patients and families identify resiliency factors to allow them to move to a place of greater self-respect and self-efficacy. Dr. Adelman is experienced in pediatrics, psychiatry, and child psychiatry. His “triple board” training lets him understand the benefits and limitations of working with children and adolescents.
