About Milton Salway, Ph.D.

Dr. Rick Salway was born in India and immigrated to the United States with his parents and younger sister in 1954. He and his family became naturalized citizens of the United States and have lived throughout Southern California. Dr. Salway completed his undergraduate studies at San Diego University and received his doctorate in psychology from the US International University/Alliant University. He served as a captain in the United States Air Force for 9 years (active duty and reserves). He then began working with veterans with PTSD, addiction, and relationship issues. He found that his compassion combined with competence is an asset to his patients.
