Since beginning his career in the United States in 1994, Dr. Mohammad Abu-Salha has become known for his compassionate and culturally sensitive approach, ensuring every patient feels heard and understood, regardless of their background. He adopts a biopsychosocial framework to address mental health, empowering patients to understand their conditions, harness their strengths, and make informed treatment decisions. Dr. Abu-Salha emphasizes patient autonomy and collaboration, frequently coordinating care with therapists, counselors, other medical specialists, and physicians to achieve holistic well-being. Residing in Raleigh, Dr. Abu-Salha enjoys spending quality time with his wife, their son, daughter-in-law, and other extended loved ones. He enjoys traveling and sightseeing, exploring museums, being in nature, reading, listening to classical music, fine dining, and learning about animals, the planet Earth, and the universe in which we exist.
