About Nicole Habit, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C

Dr. Nicole Habit is board-certified and specializes in treating children and adults with mood, thought, inattention/focus, and personality disorders. Dr. Habit also treats those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as chronic comorbid health problems. She began her career as a nurse treating medical and psychiatric emergencies. Dr. Habit realized she found the most satisfaction working with patients with mental health disorders because the care was more personal. She has a unique, evidence-based approach to treatment because of her medical background. Dr. Habit considers the well-being of each patient and examines the potential for underlying physical causes in psychiatric presentations. She utilizes a combination of psychotherapy and medication management to provide a whole-person approach to care. Dr. Habit and her family are very involved with their church and help others in their community. They also enjoy spending time in the mountains.
